Mixed Media

At the end of 2024, I was contacted by Loft Story in Greenpoint to curate an event in their projection ready space. The result was Mixed Media, a “digital variety show” that featured screenings of video works as well as performances by audio/visual artists. The concept was to create an event reminiscent of TV Carnage or the intergalactic cable from Rick and Morty, an event that changed from one moment to the next, keeping the audience on their toes, unsure as to what the next performance or video might hold. The event featured works and performances by Peter Burr, Jake Brush, Eva Davidova, Matthew D. Gantt, Sam Jackson, Molto Ohm, Jennifer Pyron, and Kareem Woods. I created intro, outro, and interstitial content using deep-faked Alfred Hitchcock Presents intros, AI generated imagery, and 3D animation.
